Kőröshegy and surroundings belong to the Somogy hills.

It is famous for its 1872 m long viaduct what the longest bridge in Hungary is. The viaduct was inaugurated in 2007. It runs between Zamárdi and Balatonszárszó. The Roman Catholic Church, which was built in 1460 and still exists, is the home of beautiful organ concerts. The baroque Széchenyi-county-house sourranded with a nice park and managed by private person today provides place to the exhibition of the rich hunting colletion as well as open air concerts. The settlement is the member of the Association of the South-Transdanubian Wine Tour. The wine yards here look back on a hundred year-past. In the wine competition of Orbán day the experts while in the Wine Week the visitors can taste the treasure of the wine cellars in Kőröshegy. The traditional Grape harvest festival and the coach driving competitions make the time spending here very amusing. Many programs wait for those also, who love horse sport, fishing and hunting.
