The Hunyadi family's estate in Balatonszemes in the last quarter of 18th century baroque listed building erected for barn purpose, since 1962 give place for the Postal Museum exhibitions.
The Communications Museum Foundation 2003 - and 2004 was renovated the prestigious Treasury owned property and built the issued Carriage and motor vehicles, as well as the barn to protect the moving stagecoach.
The beautifully designed courtyard is a worthy environment for Ferenc Trischler sculptor of the communications monument which the performance of the near and distant past, the postman who died in their service and telecommunications and broadcasting workers stands a common funerary monument only in Europe.
The former stable block furnished with new permanent exhibit at the "Wagon to the Mail car" in the Postal Museum Vehicle Collection presents a selection of pieces for the audience.
The building is linked to the history of the exhibition presents the history of the postal delivery in the 15th Century wagon carriage until the recent engine drive mail car.
The centuries-old stable block and Transdanubia distinctive folk building economic modeling foot barn located in the original and modeled vehicles, dolls dressed in period mail uniforms, documents, photographs, maps and the frames in a post historical journey to invite our visitors.
